Finding Pets at a veterinarian clinic

If you’re in the market for a pet, a place that might benefit you to look would be a veterinarian clinic. That is probably not the first place that would come to mind for someone shopping or looking for a pet, but a lot of veterinarians take in strays and put them up for adoption. The best way to go about that is to visit a local veterinarian office and ask if they have any pets that they are looking for homes for. Or if you already have pet’s start by asking the veterinarian that you take your pets too. Also ask if there’s any veterinarians that they know of that they could ask and add those people to your list. Bottom line it is a good idea to come up with a list of veterinarians to visit or even call to ask if they have any dogs or cat’s that they are trying to find homes for.

I know that veterinarians do this because I worked for a veterinarian at one time, and they did this. I actually adopted one of the kittens. I actually forgot about this one because I eventually did give it to my cousin who had better recourses at that time to take care of a cat. My cousin had some land northeast of Dallas. At the time that I adopted the cat I was trying to finish school and it just got harder and the place that I was living in was really getting run down. I really needed to start thinking about internships and where I was going to do an internship and if I was going to stay in the city I was living in for an internship or even after graduation. I just really didn’t know where I was going to be in the next six months or what I was going to be doing. I had done the paperwork for graduation, but I was having some problems in this one class that I was taking, so I wasn’t 100% sure I was graduating. Everything did end up turning out ok but, giving the cat to my cousin was the best decision I could have made for that cat because it ended up having a fun long healthy life with my cousin and his other cats and dogs.
